Happy Easter! What's next?

You’ve heard the saying, “April showers bring May flowers”… you’ve also heard the saying that “You have to stop and smell the roses”… another fine saying… which brings up an interesting thought… if April showers bring May flowers, then May is the perfect time to ‘stop and smell the roses’. So how are you taking time out for yourself and those around you? How are you taking time to just soak in the beauty and harmony found in the many little things that surround you. There is another saying that says, “Count your blessings, name them one by one, count your blessings, see what God hath done… Count your blessings, name them one by one, and it will surprise you what the Lord hath done” When times are good and even when times are rough, you can always find a “silver-lining” if you look for it. Philippians 4:8 counsels us, “… whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy –THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS… and the GOD of Peace will be with you.” Great advise… great counsel… let’s learn to follow it!
