Happy Holidays

Merry Christmas!
I love Christmas! It truly does something marvelous in terms of my relationship and commitment to Jesus Christ. It enhances my faith and promotes good will within me for my neighbors, family, and friends. It gives me the opportunity to present the gospel of Jesus Christ. I care not about the arguments about whether or not the 25th of December is or was the true birth date of Christ. I love it for what it does, not for what it was or was not. Are you with me? If you are, then love the candles, love the gifts, love the focus on faith, love the Christmas music, love the general atmosphere of light and song, love the gathering of church friends, love the story presented by children, love the wreath, tree, and tinsel, love the eggnog, ham, and wine, love the warmth of fire, the cold of skates, the drifting of snow, love the season, the reason for the season, love the advent, the hope, the angels, the shepherds, the star, love it all… but above all love Christ and honor God with what has become of what was and now is… Christmas. Merry Christmas from my house to yours!

Hi Pastor Chuck, I love that you are a pastor, I love Christmas, too for all of the things you wrote about, not because of when it is but, who gave it to us Jesus, my Savior. Merry Christmas Sabins we love you lots and lots Auntie Karyn and Uncle Dicky. PS. Thanks for the birthday gift and card it warmed my 60 year old heart.

I'm right with you, Chuck! There's nothing like Christmas. It's such a delight to simply bask in the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. Have a blessed and beautiful Christmas with your family.
